Accessibility
Our website has been designed to be as accessible as possible. If you are expriencing difficulties gaining access please let us know. Our email address is info@cbituk.org
We have tried to make the website accessible by undertaking the following:
- Website design - We have tried to make our site as easy as possible to navigate so that you don't have to spend too long looking for what you are after. We have chosen black text on a white background because it offers a good quality contrast but you can select your own preferred colour scheme via your website browser. If you use Internet Explorer, you will see a number of icons including "File" and "Edit" at the very top of the web page. Select "Tools", and from the drop down menu click on "Internet Options". Click on "Accessibility" and make your preferred changes. If you use Netscape Navigator, go to "Edit", click on "Preferences" and select "Appearance".
- Changing the size of the text - You can control the size of the text by using your web browser. If you use Microsoft Internet Explorer you can change the size of the text by selecting "View", "Text" and then chosing your preferred text size. This change should affect every website that you look at until you change it again.
- Speaking text - Browsealoud is a service which allows you to position your mouse on the words and the information will be ready out to you. It is free and easy to use but you will need to download the software. You can choose the voice, pitch and speed that suits you.
