Memory
On 24th October CBIT hosted a special conference looking into the affects of childhood acquired brain injury on memory. Held at the ‘Life’ centre in Newcastle, Dr Judith Middleton, Dr Tom Kelly and Dr Jenny Limond gave expert presentations to an audience of 100 professionals and families. The highlight of the event was Bethany Miller, Stacy Burns and Andrew Marks, who gave moving stories of their own personal experience of dealing with memory problems. By all accounts the day was memorable! CBIT also officially launched its newest Child & family Support project. Julie Young gave an inspirational presentation and asked us all to ‘make a difference’.
